I believe the topographic
detail for Canada vs the lower 48 is pretty much the same with the included Delorme Topo

My primary focus is of topo maps for northern areas of Canada (ie - deatiled city/town maps are of no consequence to me). The 3D veiws and aerial maps would certainly be of interest - does anyone know if these are available for Canada too?
As twolpert mentioned, with a MapPack subscription you can download Canadian 1:50k topo sheets via Netlink
Here's Delorme's coverage map for the Canadian 1:50k scanned topographical maps:
Check out this thread
and the links in my post
, it might help answer some of your questions, specifically the sample of a 1:50K Canada Topographic Map Sheet. Bearcanyon, just one Canadian user off the top of my head, from that thread, would be best suited to answer your questions having hands on use in the great north.
This link may also help you to visualize what to expect from the Delorme scanned 1:50k Canadian topo sheets that you can view on both the TNA 9 mapping software and PN-60 GPS: http://maps.nrcan.gc.ca/topo_e.php *
It would be nice to be able to attach pictures that would be worth a thousand words to a post (without a whole lot of fuss), but the powers that be on this forum don't seem to think image attachment is a worthy endeavor anymore.
