Cannot sync up due to passcode

I bought my Verizon XV6800 to use with the BT20 because, as most of you who have one know, the PICTURE ON THE BOX AND ON THE "Getting started with GPS" brochure is of an HTC XV6700. Now...I figured if the geniuses at Delorme were going to put the picture on the box, it would work. Not so.

The money is not as much the issue with me as the large amount of time I have spent trying to sync these up; what a waste. I always get stopped cold at the passcode. I had it synced one time, 1st or 2nd try, but then would not see the signal. I have multiple other devices my HTC is paired with, earbuds, my computer, stereo headphones, and with very little effort.

I do have 1 question: Can the BT20 be hard wired to the HTC with a double sided mini USB and used with google MAPS. I get a much better "find" rate when putting addresses in google maps then with the SA2009. I get the best result by using the BT20 hardwired to my sony laptop and then doing a google maps search with my HTC. Now...if the GPS would just work with google on my HTC...too much to ask for I guess.

I have to reiterate this, the picture of the XV6700 is on the COVER of the box right beside the BT20 on the packaging the BT20 comes with. You'd think....!!

Maybe reposting this to all the posts with us having issues with the bluetooth on this device will fix it magically.

I've got a new unit on the way from delorme, but its looking like I may as well get a refund.
