Connecting BT-20 to Laptop

Postby braamrw » Fri May 04, 2007 5:45 pm

I have a Dell Inspiron 600m running windows XP home edition. I have blue tooth connections for my phone and ipaq but I cannot get the bt 20 to connect. The bt-20 is reconized and an icon representing and labels the bt-20 is added. Then I right click on the icon and a menu pops up with a selection for pairing which i do by entering the 4 zeros. After that a check mark is placed by the icon denoting it is paired but I cannot make a connection with the program usa 2007.
Any help would be appreciated.
Dell 8100 w/SA2006, Ipaq 5555 w/HH2005

in your bt settings window click com ports and you should show atleast com 6 and com 7 these are the only 2 that seem to work for me. go to your option window in delorme and click on gps and make sure com 6 and 7 are there then try activating gps under each port 1 at a time rarely does any other port in that drop down box work
