Some years ago StreetAtlas versions did something that was particularly annoying -- when creating a GPS file (.gpl), if you used a Draw tool, the entire time the Draw tool was selected there was no "bread crumb" trail nor was any data being logged into the GPS file.
Around SA2006 (it could have been as late as SA2008) that poor programing mistake was corrected and we could then select a Draw tool and the bread crumb trail continued to be plotted on the map and all points were logged into the GPS file.
Somewhere in the archives of this forum I have a post thanking DeLorme for fixing that.
Unfortunately, like a line in a bad movie, IT'S BAAACK. StreetAtlas 2010 is repeating mistakes from the past.
My suggestion: Fix the software so it doesn't do this anymore, make it work like SA2008 and SA2009.
