BUG - Phone Book Business Data does not work in SA2010+ SP1

Error was discovered in this post by user adcockj in this post.

A summary is below:
--------------------
Using Street Atlas 2010:
- When I right click on Tucson major road Broadway and request the Phone business listings for "this block," I get zero business hits.
- I tried again for "This Street" and again got zero hits.
- I tried the main street in town, Speedway. Zero businesses.
- I went up to Phoenix and tried Southern. Zero businesses.
It appears the business listings for the phone book do not work in Arizona, or at least it's two largest cities.

Troubleshooting Tip: I've noticed a bias in the DeLorme products. For example (Topo), many small parks in New England are mapped in excruciating detail, while major trails and even roads in the west are missing. I also suspect that when the people living in Maine do self-beta-testing, they only check locally (what they're familiar with).

So a favorite trick with bugs is to check near Yarmouth, Maine. I went to Portland, ME (near DeLorme). N43.6670, W70.2966
- Right Click for phone listings on the street and find over 300.

So at this point it becomes a game of figuring out if data is missing, and how it's missing: States, Counties, or Cities. Is it a lookup problem in the program, or is the data just plain missing off the DVD. I will leave the fine details for DeLorme to troubleshoot.

Does not have phone business data
- Arizona has no businesses (Phoenix and Tucson)
- Nevada has no businesses (N. Rancho Dr, a major road in Vegas)
- Illinois has no businesses (Checked in Alsip, IL)
- Indiana has no businesses (Checked in Indianapolis, IN)
- Ohio has no businesses (High Ave in Youngstown, OH)
- Oregon has no businesses (Portland, US 30 Byp/NE Lombard St)
- Washington State has no businesses (Seattle, Martin Luther King Jr Way)

Has phone business data:
- New York (Brunswick Road in Troy, NY) has businesses.
- Pennsylvania (Harrisburg) has businesses.
- Maine (Portland) has business.
- California (Los Angeles) has businesses, shooting a hole in my New England theory.

So my quick check shows about 66% of the states don't have business phone book data. It seems to work on New England states and California, but nowhere else. This means further checking would probably only drive the "does not work" percentage up much higher.

It could be a county by county issue, or even worse a city by city issue. I do not have enough time in my life to check that. ;-)

Service Pack 1 did not fix the Business Data issue
I am now running SA 2010 Plus version 10.1.0, build SA2010 Rel Gen 5: 672.319383

Trying Broadway in Tucson again: N32.2215, W110.8971
Right click >> Searched entire street, didn't find businesses.
Searched entire street, did find residences.

I did not try beta checking multiple states, multiple areas again to see if other states were fixed, or if previously working states are now broken.

Conclusion: SP1 did not fix. Business phone data does not work to view all phone data in all states. If phone data is important to you, ask someone to verify the residential and/or business data works in your area of interest works first.
