GPS Radar

Very cool feature! I'd like to suggest considering what somebody who's driving and decides they need to find gas really needs. First, there should be two distance settings. One setting for how far ahead along the route to search, and another for how far off the route the user is willing to travel to get gas. For example, the user wants to say "look ahead 25 miles along the route". However the user only wants the program to find gas stations that are maybe 1 to 5 miles off the route. So 25 miles "ahead" (along the route), but not 25 miles to the left or right of the route. What the user is probably doing is scanning ahead hoping for a particular gas station brand (or two or three), but if they end up going 25 miles and there isn't one showing up within the next 25 miles, they'll probably give up and take whatever the program is finding. Another good improvement would be to set up and save GPS Radar configurations that can be quickly selected while driving. During the first 1/2 or 3/4 of your gas tank you don't want to be bothered by the GPS Radar. Eventually the tank will run low enough that it will be handy to turn on a preconfigured GPS Radar search with minimal effort while driving.

Great idea. Please add this Delorme. I've been wishing for the same thing.

One thing better, choose your fuel - Gasoline, Diesel, Hydrogen, Natural, Bio-disel, Recycled cooking oil, Corn Oil, Ethonal, Electric, Lead, etc.

Gas stations would have to provide their fuel type data. I'm sure that some do, but I know gas stations in google maps aren't identified by type.

You'd also run into a problem with consistency. Gas and diesel are ok, but a lot of stations try alternative fuels, then turn them off after a short period of time.
