Running Topo 5.0 under Vista

Has anyone had success running Topo 5.0 under Microsoft Vista? I installed it and it starts but I get a "No Controls Specified" error in the window and nothing is displayed. Vista has a compatibility mode but I'm not sure how to invoke it. Any suggestions?

I've found a solution. If you run with administrator privileges Topo 5.0 seems to work properly under Microsoft Vista. I've not tried downloading from a GPS and I'd guess there will be driver issues. But this is better than nothing.
