I've been using 5.0 for a long time now, although not with a GPS. I recently purchased the Colorado 400t and I want to be able to import/export with the Delorme software. Here's where I'm at (I must have read 20 different threads).
1. SP2 is installed and working correctly.
2. The software SEES the GPS via USB. I can start the GPS and see the movements, etc. on the map..play back the log..all that.
The problem begins when I want to import track logs. It seems to connect okay, then I get the message "No tracks received from device.". It doesn't work regardless of what I try to import it as (draw, track, etc.)
***The files are there, I changed to USB Storage mode on the GPS and checked in explorer to verify they exist.
I tried exporting a route to see if it worked in that direction. It starts, progresses, then tells me it has been exported. I see nothing of it on the GPS itself however.
Software Settings
Garmin/Garmin
9600 baud rate
Hardware Settings - I have the Garmin set to Garmin Spanner.
Hopefully I've answered all the questions I'll automatically get asked.
I may be missing something really simple here. It "acts" like it's looking but finds nothing to import. I can import the track info easily with Mapsource, just not with Delorme.
Could it possibly be looking for the data on the SD card in the Garmin and not seeing it there? If so, how do I keep it from doing that?
I'd appreciate any help, I have a trip coming up and want to get this figured out.
Thanks!
John
