Roads are gone. Only town names appear!! HELP!

Whenever I go into the map program, I can't see the roads, it's just all white with only the town names!
I can't get the map copied to show on here, but if anyone knows how to fix it, that would be awesome! The last time I used it, it was fine, but the time before that, it did the exact same thing. I don't think I did anything to fix it that time, and I'm not sure why it's doing it again!
Can anyone help??
