Mac Version Available Now

Postby CMason » Tue Sep 21, 2010 5:40 pm

You can download it for free at this link. We will have the PC version next week. There will be no charge for this for new or existing customers going forward. If you own a PN-Series DeLorme GPS, we will offer it for free: Mac or Windows. It's a great app. Happy downloading!

p.s. like the way we took care of the Mac app before Windows? Anyone????
p.p.s remember -- if you own the Windows Topo North America software Cache Register is included.

Like my mixed messages? Play nice...more soon.

HUGE, Roger That to all of the above, Caleb! :D

Although I am a Windows user, I agree with the decision to provide for the Mac users first.
I feel that they were hurting more than I am and it can benefit them more than I would be able to in the following week.

Yes, I like your mixed messages. :)

Great job, Caleb! I'm glad the Mac users got their update first.

I've just downloaded Cache Register 2.0 and it isn't working for me. Every time I try to access it, it's unresponsive and I get a crash report window telling me that "DashboardCient quit unexpectedly while using the SherpaPlugin plugin." Further down the window it also tells me that SherpaPlugin is a component of Cache Register.

Good to see it's free for all like many of us assumed it would be when 1.0 came out.

Great news Caleb! MAC users needed to get theirs first. The PN-60 needed a MAC application and the PN-40 users needed f/w 2.8.

I'm also glad the pricing decision was made as it was.

All Good things from a great company!

Congrats to DeLorme for finally joining the 21st century. I was very put off by their description of their GPS units only being compatible with Macs that could run boot camp (that's code language for "You'll play hell getting this to work.") I wish you would tell me that it will now work on the iPad.

Does Cache Register work for anyone anymore? Last I tried, it crashed every time I touched it.
