SA2009 - Running it on a Toshiba NB305/Wdo7

Postby capediamond » Wed Apr 14, 2010 3:48 am

I've been running SA2009 with GPS on a laptop for the last year or so.

I'd now also like to install it on a Toshiba NB305 netbook; Windows 7 Starter OS; 2Gb.
1) Can it be done?
2) if so, what steps are involved? I imagine the first step would be to copy the SA2009 disc to a flash drive, then ...?

Thanks for any help and suggestions.

Download and install DAEMON Lite. Installed on the PC, it will allow you to create an ISO image of the SA2009 disk. This file can then be copied to a Flash Drive and then onto the HD of the NB305.

When DAEMON Lite installed on the NB305, the ISO image (file) can be mounted as virtual CD Drive. This will then allow you to install the software on to the NB305.

Let's know how it works on the NB305 - It's one of the Netbooks I've been thinking about getting...

That was really interesting, Rick. I sure wish capediamond would have ANSWERED you and told you if and how it worked.
