Another very nice improvement . . .
    * Import a GPS log directly into a Routable Road or Track
Previous versions required two steps -- import the log as a draw object, then convert the draw object (line) to a road.
This kept the line too, so you had to also manually delete the line, so you could really call it three steps with older versions.

Man, just think of the space in the ether that would have been saved if this feature had been implemented in versions past. Hopefully this will cut down on the complaints about the map or gps being 30 feet off. LOL

[Edit] Although it may bring up new complaints about being on the wrong road. Oh well, you just can't win for loosing, can you. Anyway, it is a great feature. Thanks DeLorme.

Thanks. The replies are helping me to understand what the new features mean.

Snap-to-route, for instance. Thanks to all.

Does this have any effect on Turn Direction accuracy?

Is there anything in the works to embed Geo located metadata directly into snapshot image *.jpg exif fields, "where it belongs"?

I see that another major player introducd this capability within the last week in the middle of a proxy battle. I had previously thought that lat/lon should also be added to XMP Tag fields, but that idea doen't seem so hot when you actually try it. Overwhelms all the other tags.
