Problem of Street Atlas to find my GPS-Mouse

First: sorry for my bad english. I recently bought the 2009 Plus. Installing was without problems, all works but the GPS-Fix.
I have a Toughbook of Panasonic with Windows XP and a build in GPS-Mouse wich works great (e.g. with Mobile PC of Garmin). The PRoblem is that it is attached at Com Port 3. In the Default Options of the SW i see Delorme Mouse and USB -when i want to swich it and say apply or ok - the software wants some dates for Lattitude (there is a field) - but whatever i do - i can't change the options.
Can you tell me, what i do wrong and how i can fix it?
