Split screen, wasted space

Postby pursuit95 » Tue Aug 10, 2010 1:35 pm

In Street Atlas 2008 I was able to "split" the screen (in fact, that was the default mode) so that I had greater detail in the right pane than the left. Am I able to do that in Street Atlas 2009 Plus?

Also, why has Delorme chosen to take up so much of the screen in Nav mode with the blue data bar at the bottom. what a waste of map space!

Yes, you can do it. But it's only for when you are using the GPS receiver (worked the same with SA2008).
Click Options -> GPS Settings tab -> in the When tracking section put a check by "Display GPS overview"

I can't answer for DeLorme, but I agree. My solution: I don't use NavMode.
