Closing program

Postby wdwerker32 » Thu Mar 04, 2010 1:12 pm

Every time I set a location and then start to either get close to or turn onto the road with the location it closes the program and I have to re-start . Talk about an annoying situation. I am running Windows XP Professional version 2002. Any ideas out there on how to fix this problem.

Thanks,

I do not recall having seen that before.
If no one else has a suggestion, I would suggest doing a re-install on top of the existing.
Don't uninstall anything, just re-install it. It just takes a couple minutes.

I thought I had posted a suggestion that your cpu might be overheating, and that cleaning the lint off of it might help (in addition to making sure that the fan is working).

But apparently I did not make such a post yesterday, as it is not now visible on my computer. This type of crashing, in my limited experience, is most likely to occur near boundaries of four-state, tri-state, or two-state areas, within perhaps nine miles or less of the border.

Dang, he hasn't been back, so it's impossible to know if he followed your suggestion, John. I sure wish he'd log back in and tell us if that helped.
I LOVE Delorme's programs & helping people learn to use them.
I hope I've helped you! Please pass the favor on & help someone out too! ;-)
